WhatsApp has finally released one of the most awaited feature – a native dark mode.
But it must be noted that the update is only available for app’s beta testers for now and arrives with the v2.20.13 update, available for download via Google Play Store. The update will let the users choose between dark and light mode.
No information as to when the feature will be rolled out via the stable channel is available as of now, but it shouldn't take very long.
As per WABetaInfo, if you are a beta tester and have already updated to the most recent version (v2.20.13) available and still not able to see the feature, please back up your chat history and reinstall WhatsApp if you don’t want to wait anymore.
For those of you who are have are not signed onto the beta programme, can always side load the WhatsApp beta v2.20.13 APK from APKMirror.
How to enable Dark Mode in WhatsApp?
To enabling dark mode in WhatsApp, head to the Setting by clicking on the three-dot menu icon at the top right corner in the app.
Once you are on the Settings page, tap on Chats, and then tap on Theme.
